2012NT Short Course Championships Report
2012 NT SHORT COURSE CHAMPIONSHIPS 11-13 May 2012 There was an exciting three days of swimming over the weekend during the Northern Territory Short Course Swimming Championships, including an unofficial world record. Tahnee Afuhaamango, 29, from Darwin, broke the Down Syndrome 100m butterfly record with a time of 1:38.69. The first world record to be broken in our new 25m pool. Swimmer of the Meet went to Zac Dalby, 19, a former member of Alice Springs Swimming Club. Zac broke seven Northern Territory records and dominated the open male age group. Zac recently competed in the London Olympics selection trials from which the Australian Swimming Team was selected. Read more...
