Australian Unity Go Club PB Awards
Our club was once again successful
gaining "Silver" status in the "Australian Unity Go Club PB Awards".
This program brings awareness to the importance of club structures
by measuring the performance of clubs across different areas - the five
areas being: Membership, Administration, Activities, Coaching &
Officiating and Marketing & Promotion. Ours was the only Territory
swimming club to achieve this standard. |

Competitions:
A book will be on pool
deck every afternoon and swimmers can mark off the 4 events they wish to
enter each week. Please try and have all entries in by the Thursday
evening prior to the Sat. am meet. Gates open 7.00am for warm-up with
events starting at 7.30am. These meets can’t run without the help of
parents to set-up the pool, time keep and officiate. Don’t worry! No
experience required. It’s also a great chance for you to support your
child and see how well they are doing.

Purchase of new
video/underwater camera
We have been able to purchase a new video /
underwater camera and laptop computer with another Community Benefit
fund grant. This will enable coaching staff to analyze swimmer's strokes
and play video back to swimmers showing them their faults and how they
can improve their strokes etc.
